Right Click Context Menu

The NEX-Forms right-click context menu provides quick access to a variety of actions and settings for form elements. This feature enhances your workflow by allowing you to perform common tasks efficiently without needing to navigate through multiple menus or toolbars.

NOTE: This feature requires the ability to right click in your browser to bring up the NEX-Forms Context Menu.

Using the Context Menu on a Field or Form Element

Edit or create a new form.
Hover over a field or element in the form and Right Click.
This will bring up the NEX-Forms Context Menu.

Right Click on Field or Element Context Menu Item

The below table shows all menu items, or actions, to take when right clicking on a form field or elements.

Form Fields and Elements Context Menu Item Definitions:

Item	Function
Edit	Opens the settings panel for the selected element, allowing you to modify its properties, such as label text, placeholder text, validation rules, and more. (Same as Editing a Field).
Copy	Copies the selected field or element, enabling you to paste it elsewhere on the form while leaving the original element in place.
Cut	Removes the selected element from its current position and allows you to paste it elsewhere on the form. This is useful for reorganizing your form layout especially in Multi-Step forms.
Duplicate	Inserts a copy of the field or element below the selected element (same as Duplicating a Field).
Delete	Removes the selected element from the form. This action helps you quickly clean up unwanted elements (same as Deleting a Field).
Set As Required	If relavent to the field it will make it required.
Set As Not Required	If relavent to the field it will remove its requirement.
Paste Above	Paste any copied or cut element above the rigth click selection.
Paste Below	Paste any copied or cut element below the rigth click selection.
Paste Above	Paste any copied or cut element above the rigth click selection.
Paste Inside At Top	Paste any copied or cut element to the top of the inside a Grid, Panel or Form Step. Relevant if the Right Click target element is a Grid, Panel or Step Container.
Paste Inside At Bottom	Paste any copied or cut element to the bottom of the inside a Grid, Panel or Form Step. Relevant if the Right Click target element is a Grid, Panel or Step Container.

Using the Context Menu on the Form Container

Edit or create a new form.
Hover directly over the form wrapper and while missing other elements inside the form wrapper Right Click.
This will bring up the NEX-Forms Context Menu for the Form Container.

The below table shows all menu items, or actions, to take when right clicking directly on the Form (Form Container).

Form Fields and Elements Context Menu Item Definitions:

Item	Function	Keyboard Shortcut
Style Form Wrapper	Opens the overall styling options for the form wrapper. (Same as Form Wrapper Styling).
Select All	Selects all elements inside a form for batch editing or deleting.	CTRL+A
Unselect All	Deselects all elements inside a form.	CTRL+SHIFT+A or ESC
Paste To Top	Paste any copied or cut element to the very top of the inner Form Wrapper
Paste To Bottom	Paste any copied or cut element to the very bottom of the inner Form Wrapper
Undo	Undoes the last action taken.	CTRL+Z
Redo	Redoes the last undo.	CTRL+SHIFT+Z

Using the Context Menu on a Batch Field Selection

Edit or create a new form.
Create a batch selection using DragBox Selection or Batch Field Selection.
Hover over any of the selected item in the selection group and Right Click.
This will bring up the NEX-Forms Context Menu for the entire selection.

Right Click on Form Wrapper Context Menu Item

The below table shows all menu items, or actions, to take when right clicking directly on the Form (Form Container).

Batch Field Selection Context Menu Item Definitions:

Item	Function	Keyboard Shortcut
Edit	Opens the styling options for the entire batch selection.	Enter
Copy	Copies the entire selection, enabling you to paste it elsewhere on the form while leaving the original elements in place.	CTRL+C
Cut	Removes the selected elements from their current positions and allows you to paste them elsewhere on the form.	CTRL+X
Delete	Removes the entire selection.	Delete
Set As Required	If relavent to the field it will make it required.
Set As Not Required	If relavent to the field it will remove its requirement.
